Day 09: Celebrating family with Camp Takajo
Another beautiful day has come and gone at Tripp Lake Camp. Today, there was a buzz in the air; our Tripp Lake ladies headed over to Camp Takajo to meet up with their respective cousins and/or brothers. We hopped on buses and headed over, singing pop songs until we reached our destination: Camp Takajo.
There was no mistaking the warm smiles and big hugs between campers, which made for a wonderful couple of hours. A big thank you to Camp Takajo. They were wonderful hosts, providing our girls with a fantastic lunch, complete with one of Tripp Lake’s favorite desserts: S’mores Bar.
Charlotte Hawkins, our video counselor, was there to capture the families reuniting. The following is a short she recorded & edited exclusively for the TLC Times Blog. Enjoy!
