A combination of individual and team sports are a part of each camper’s daily schedule. Team sports build skills in leadership, sportsmanship and cooperation in a group setting. TLC coaches promote competence, confidence and enjoyment when teaching a sport. Our campers develop new skills and learn to do their best, respect their opponents, work together and have fun. As campers get older and develop skills in their favorite sport, they may attend a Mini Sports Camp or participate in an All Star Game. Most campers return to Tripp Lake for several years and they are prepared to enjoy a lifetime of sport. Campers have the opportunity to develop skills to play high school sports if they choose.
"We were so impressed with the camaraderie amongst the girls and their enthusiasm for their sports and each other. We were so delighted to see the character building that is stressed at TLC. Your staff at all the activities were all professional and the coaching is excellent."

Archery
Archery allows girls to set individual goals and achieve them at their own pace. Campers learn the safety skills and techniques that enable them to reach their targets and hit a bulls-eye!
Basketball
Our highly skilled basketball counselors teach ball handling, drills, plays and strategies to novice and advanced players. Tripp Lake has 3 basketball courts which host both Big and Little Team games.
Beach Volleyball
Beach volleyball is a great way for campers to have fun on the beach. Right next to our beautiful lake, girls have a great time playing and learning the game with their friends.
Dance
Dance is an activity that is welcoming to all campers. Here girls can learn a variety of styles such as hip hop, jazz, ballet, tap, and modern dance. Older campers can choose to take yoga or toning class as well.
Field Hockey
At field hockey, girls run drills designed to improve their game. Younger campers learn the rules and techniques while older girls improve their skills. Older girls have an opportunity to participate in field hockey workshops.
Ga-Ga Ball
Ga-ga Ball is a form of dodgeball that’s played not as teams but as individuals. It is designed so everyone can play no matter their athletic ability.
Golf
Golf at camp is lots of fun. Girls learn techniques and skills to advance their game including proper swing and grip.
Gymnastics / Aerobics / Fitness
Gymnastics is designed to improve a camper’s overall ability in the gym. Campers can choose to work on tumbling activities or use a free period to work out with the staff.
Lacrosse
Campers of all ages learn new skills at lacrosse. Younger girls work more towards catching and throwing, and how to play the game, while older girls hone their defensive and offensive strategies.
Spin
Campers love to work out in this fast paced aerobic class. With the music pumping, girls work on their endurance and strength while having fun. Made for all athletic abilities, our older campers enjoy challenging themselves.
Soccer
In soccer, girls learn the basic skills of shooting, passing and dribbling along with the strategies and dynamics of the game. Older girls can participate in workshops that will help them sharpen their skills.
Softball
Girls of all ages come to softball to learn skills they use in their games. Whether it’s catching, pitching, or hitting, lessons focus on teamwork.
Tennis
TLC’s 18 tennis courts (6 of them lit for night play) and team of skilled tennis instructors ensure that every player – from beginner to advanced – receives individualized instruction to improve her game. In addition to the tennis offered daily to each age group (except for trip or special days), all campers can choose to participate in specialized tennis workshops to receive extra tennis instruction. More advanced tennis players may also represent TLC on its inter-camp team.
