Tripp Lake has wonderful art classes to inspire the very beginner or the aspiring artist. Campers develop their artistic abilities and learn creative ways to express themselves in TLC’s art program. From learning to make a vase on the pottery wheel, or take, develop and print black and white photos, to designing silver earrings or writing for the TLC Times, each camper will find an art shop she will enjoy. At the end of the summer, the art department hosts an Art Show where the girls’ finest work is on display for the campers and staff to enjoy.

Silver Jewelry
In silver, campers first learn the techniques, skills, and safety precautions of the shop. Once these are learned, girls let their creative juices flow and create wonderful pieces of jewelry.
TLC Times
Every camper can become a reporter at the TLC Times! In this shop girls work on their writing skills and create a weekly camp newspaper. The TLC Times features articles about the camp as well as various types of creative writing.
Video & Film Making
Campers are taught all about digital video cameras, are asked to create their own shots, and help collect footage for the yearbook video in this shop. Counselors work with the girls to help them learn how to set up a shot and edit on their own.
