Our beautiful Tripp Lake provides lots of opportunities to enjoy the natural wonders and beauty of Maine. Campers participate in instructional and recreational activities on our expansive mile-long waterfront. Swimming in a lake or sailing a boat for the first time is a delight for any camper.

Canoeing
Campers will learn how to safely navigate their boat through the waters of Tripp Lake. The more experienced campers practice rescue techniques and teamwork to have a safe time on the water.
Kayaking
Before paddling in a kayak, campers first learn proper techniques and safety maneuvers. Once they have the basics down they are free to show off their talents in deeper water
Sailing
Taught by a crew of seasoned sailors, campers first learn safety and technique on land until they are ready and sure enough to sail their own boat on the lake.
Swimming
Campers work their way through different colored caps by learning and perfecting swim skills. Campers have the opportunity to swim nearly every day, with a free period of swim in addition to a scheduled period for each age group
Waterskiing
Water skiing is one of the camp’s most popular activities. Girls learn to ski at their own pace with instruction from our fantastic water ski staff. Once campers master skis, they have the opportunity to knee board, wake board, and slalom.
