One of the most beautiful places to start the day is on the lake, and this morning we did just that! Our campers, ages Inter III and up, who have shown great skill and progress in waterski, were invited to our annual Tripp Lake Invitational Ski event this morning. If there is ever an event that gets campers out of their bunks bright and early, it’s this one! One by one, twenty-five campers who received invitations from our waterski staff arrived down at the lake, ready to board the ski boats. This event is always a favorite because the water could not be more perfect – the water glistens with a stillness that only lasts for this small pocket of time in the morning.

Whether it was wakeboarding, skiing, double skiing, or kneeboarding, these girls held their own out on the water! So many girls used this time to push themselves to try something new or work on perfecting their form on the skis. The campers waiting to ski or those who just finished sipped hot cocoa while rooting on their friends from the beach. It was such a beautiful way to start the day, and our campers and waterski staff could not have done a better job!

After a beautiful morning on the lake, this afternoon, we had our All-Star Soccer game for our Juniors, AJ’s, and Subs. Like invitational ski, campers in these age groups are invited to play in this game, where the rest of camp is cheering them on from the sidelines. The campers scored goals, cheered for one another, and passed up and down the Little Soccer field. I was so proud of our younger campers for playing such a fantastic game today! They’ve been working hard to improve each day, so it was great to see how much they’ve honed into their soccer skills.

Tomorrow brings the much anticipated Sing-Song event, and the rest of the weekend brings more all-star games for the rest of camp! There will be even more exciting updates coming your way, so please stay tuned!

Kind Regards,

Leslie
