“For you girls belong to Tripp Lake and Tripp Lake belongs to you.”

When you come to Tripp Lake Camp, you’ll become part of a special sisterhood. You’ll feel the spirit and excitement of being in a place that will quickly feel like your home away from home. You’ll meet other girls your age who will become your lifelong friends. You’ll meet older girls who will look out for you and who will support you every step of the way.

Before you even come to camp, you’ll get a letter from two TLC campers who will be your Big Sisters. They will tell you all about what you can expect when you come to Tripp Lake. The day camp starts, your Big Sisters will be looking for you to welcome you to camp and help you feel comfortable and at home.

Our oldest campers, who are 15 and 16, are like the Big Sisters to all the other campers. Everyone lives together on the same campus. The bunks are all in a circle so that the youngest girls and the oldest girls – and everyone in between – feels like part of one big family.

"This past summer has been the best of my entire life thus far, and better than anything I have yet to experience. It sounds like a cliché to say that camp has changed me forever, but it really has. When I came to Tripp, I had no idea what I was in for. I wasn’t the most outgoing kid, and I wasn’t the shyest either. I generally spoke what was on my mind, was not always spirited, and was not always considerate to others. But Tripp has changed that. I can say on behalf of my group, that because of camp, we have manners. We have values, we have competitiveness, we have determination, and, most importantly, we have love. So to sum it all up, thank you for everything. Tripp Lake is more than a summer camp; it is my home."
