Canoeing

While paddling on the calm, open water of Tripp Lake, campers learn the fundamentals of canoe and boat safety. The older campers practice rescue skills and how to right a tipped canoe. This practice is put to the test when the girls go on overnight canoe and camping trips! Campers also get to show their technique, skills and teamwork at the camp canoe and kayak races. Canoe counselors are certified lifeguards with CPR and First Aid certifications.
