Winter Update from Tripp Lake Camp, February 2018

By February 12, 2018 TLC Times

The snow in Maine hasn’t stopped the fearless maintenance crew at Tripp Lake Camp from forging ahead on our new Art Shops!  Now that the roof is on, they are happy to be doing “inside work” and creating spaces for our ten art programs, including a new room for our culinary program.  We’re also adding Digital Photography as a new elective.  This magnificent 4,000 square foot building will inspire our aspiring artists in a beautiful new state-of-the-art facility!

Tripp Lake Camp Art Shops 2018Our administrative team will be meeting next week.   We will be hard at work, brainstorming ideas to give our girls the summer of their lives!  One of our agenda items will be the 2018 schedule.  For girls who want to “up their game,” we will be expanding our land sport clinics.  In addition to the phenomenal soccer training provided in recent years by Mike Turtle from Soccer Specific Training in New Jersey, we will be bringing in top-notch coaches to run clinics in basketball, field hockey, softball, volleyball and lacrosse.

We are thrilled to welcome back Quest Intensive, a prestigious dance program from NYC, that will again provide sensational studio sessions for our girls.  It is an incredible experience for dancers of all ability levels.  Check out their website at questintensive.com.

Our Food Service Director, Dan Caron, is returning with a great staff to expand on last summer’s enhancements in our food service. Campers can anticipate an even greater variety of selections this summer. Dan is also excited to share his secrets with the girls who want to learn some fun culinary skills in this new activity.

We are looking ahead with great enthusiasm to the 2018 season!

Kind regards,
Leslie
